Graffiti Alley, Boston, MA-framed under clear acrylic
Dimensions with mat and frame: 17x25"
Year completed: 2017
This painting is a painting 'in memoriam'. The reference photo was taken one bright beautiful afternoon while walking through the streets of Boston. An alleyway caught my eye and what a sight to see!! It was an artist's haven! Every week artists are allowed and encouraged to paint over the stunning artwork from the week before thus overlapping each others works!
You will never see this work on the walls of this alleyway again!!
I allowed myself three months to paint this piece, I Actual time spent was 10 weeks!
This painting is professionally framed in a beautiful solid wood frame and matted under crystal clear acrylic.
Prints of this painting are also available upon request.
Year completer: 2017
Colored pencil on paper.
The reference photo for this painting was taken while visiting "Steam Town", Scranton, PA. Steam Town is a National Historic Park and has loads of old steam engines on display. My great grandfather used to work on the railroads so this piece held a special place in my heart.
